My Journey Has Always Been About Obedience
I gave my life to Christ at a young age. I was raised under the spiritual covering of two Holy Ghost-filled grandmothers who didn’t just teach me the Bible—they lived it. My aunt, Evangelist Linda Hart-Cade, became a spiritual mother and taught me the seriousness of holiness and walking out your calling with fear and reverence.
By the age of 11, I knew I was called to minister the Word of God. I’ve had recurring dreams throughout my life where I saw myself proclaiming the Gospel before thousands. As a child, I was taught to pray, fast, and discern spirits. I witnessed deliverance firsthand during family Bible studies and prayer meetings. Though I was often afraid, I had no other hope but God—and it birthed spiritual maturity in me far beyond my years.
As I grew older, life happened. I got married, had children, and pursued nursing. I poured myself into healthcare, became an educator, and earned my Doctorate of Nursing Practice and an MBA. But even with all of my success, the call of ministry never left me. No matter how “content” I became in my profession, I could never shake the pull to fully surrender to my calling.
I’ve battled anxiety, depression, and even agoraphobia. But the same God who called me also delivered me. I went from fearing the outside world to living boldly in three different states, knowing no one but Him. And I realized: my healing wasn’t just for me—it was for the women I would one day lead.
Today, I combine over 25 years of nursing experience—including 15 in education and 3 as a nurse practitioner—with a life rooted in prayer, prophetic calling, and discipleship. I help women heal emotionally and spiritually, hear God clearly, and activate the ministry already living inside them.
Psalm for the Soul isn’t just a platform. It’s an altar. And I’m here to walk with you from fear to freedom, from confusion to clarity, and from hesitation to holy boldness.
“Obedience is better than sacrifice. You were made for more.”
“Psalm for the Soul was birthed from a place of deep healing, deep obedience, and deep calling. I didn’t build this platform because I had it all figured out—I built it because I know what it’s like to feel called by God and still stuck in fear, perfectionism, or pain.
I’ve lived the tension between the anointing and the anxiety. Between knowing you’re chosen and still not feeling ready. And that’s why I created this space—for women like you, who are ready to heal, hear, and walk boldly in their assignment.”
